Ever since I wrote an essay in the fifth grade that won a first-place trophy in a Kiwanis Club completion, I have viewed myself as a writer. By the time I reached adolescence, I was banging out texts on a small portable typewriter that my Uncle Bill gave me for my bar mitzvah. Since then, hardly a day has gone by without my writing.
My nonfiction has appeared in newspapers, academic journals, and specialized publications. I have had opinion pieces in The New York Times and the Los Angeles Times. My book, Self-Determination in the Middle East was published by Praeger in 1982. A second book, Development, Environment and Global Dysfunction was issued by St Lucie press in 1996.
I have blogged at Green Prophet, Middle East environmental website. I regularly comment on contemporary social, political and environmental issues on my blog, Issues of the Day, which can be found on this website.
Rise, A Novel fo Contemporary Israel was published in both print and dighital editions under my own imprint, 'Atida Press. I am currently at work on a second novel, Dance of the Uroboros.
